Mardi Himal is a thrilling and exhilarating trekking route in Nepal that is often overlooked by tourists. This hidden gem is located near Mount Machhapuchhre and is home to one of the lesser-known mountains in the region. The trail to Mardi Himal offers an extraordinary journey, complete with stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

As you make your way along the Mardi Himal trail, you will pass through a magnificent rhododendron forest, complete with small winding paths that add to the charm of the trek. Upon emerging from the forest, you will be treated to breathtaking views of Mardi Himal, Annapurna South, and Machhapuchhre. Similar to many of the other treks in the Annapurna region, the Mardi Himal Trek starts and finishes in Pokhara, a popular tourist hub that provides the perfect resting place after a challenging trek.

The Mardi Himal Trek takes you from the 800-meter elevation of Pokhara to the 4500-meter height of the Mardi Himal Base Camp, providing a truly unforgettable experience. The trek to Mardi Himal is generally considered easy by experienced trekkers due to its relatively shorter distance and straightforward path. However, for beginners, it may be rated as moderately difficult due to the long hours of walking and the uphill sections. Over the course of the trek, you can expect to spend around 5 to 6 hours each day trekking along the foothills of Mardi Himal, which can be quite tiring.
